Teresa has been with HF Mencap for 20 years, re-launching Hammersmith & Fulham Mencap in 1999 to deliver and develop service user led advocacy services. The charity has grown and diversified over the last 19 years offering a variety of Children and Adult services, which are popular and respected in the local community.
Amanda joined HF Mencap in 2002 to coordinate Parentsactive, a parent led support organisation, her role evolved to provide advocacy to parents/carers of disabled children and develop further services, Early Support Keyworking and Inclusive Play for disabled children and their parents. Amanda is the mother of a severely disabled young man so has first-hand knowledge of the needs and concerns of parents with disabled children.
Anastasia joined in 2019 and is an experienced health and social care manager with a history of working across the mental health, learning disabilities and digital healthcare sectors. She has an academic background in Clinical Psychology (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and more recently undertook a course in Healthcare Management and Leadership (PG.Dip.).
Anastasia’s multilingual and multicultural background has supported her in working effectively with service users and families from different cultures and faiths, something very distinctive of London’s population. She will be overseeing operations of the MyLife and Play projects and will support the CEO in business development and quality assurance.
Rebecca started off her career as a support worker with Royal Mencap Society back in 2010. She joined HF Mencap in 2014 working to develop the MyLife support and short break service. She is now working closely with the Operational Team and Trustee Board to further develop organisation and shape it’s future.
Rebecca holds a Level 5 in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management Diploma and is undertaking further Human Resources training.
