HF Mencap is delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Balogun as its new CEO, effective from the end of August.
About Tim Balogun:
Tim Balogun brings a wealth of experience and passion to HF Mencap. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Tim has been committed to community empowerment throughout his career, working to support individuals in need and fostering inclusive environments.
Over the years, he has taken on leadership roles in various unique charities and not-for-profit organisations, including as CEO of Community Focus in North London, where he spearheaded programs focused on enhancing lives through creative initiatives and community-centred projects. Tim also led as CEO of The Learning Partnership, securing the largest European Social Fund contracts in the UK whilst in tenure.
Tim is driven by the belief that everyone, regardless of ability, deserves the opportunity for a full and happy life. From his first interactions with HF Mencap’s board, staff, service users, and carers, Tim was inspired by the organisation’s family-like atmosphere and the dedication of its community.
He looks forward to working with the HF Mencap family and leading the organisation into an exciting new phase.
